future development needs to be undertaken before massive projects <br />are built near residential neighbarhoods. <br />West Roseville Redevelopment: <br />Respondents were informed: <br />As you may know, the City will need <br />to re-develop the land containing the <br />truck terminals alanq County Road C <br />and the western area of the aommunity. <br />They were then asked a series of questions about preferred <br />development in this area. Initially, citizens were queried: <br />�hat type of development would you <br />most like to see there? <br />Light industrial and office/commercial development were the major <br />chaices: <br />N� ANSWER .................................26� <br />NO NEW DEVELOPMENT .........................4� <br />RETAIL .....................................4� <br />OFFICE/COMMERCIAL .........................22� <br />LIGHT INDUSTRY ............................27� <br />RESIDENTIAL ONLY ..........................13% <br />PARKS/OTHER RECREATIONAL ...................4� <br />OTHER RESPONSES ............................1� <br />Residential development also obtained a moderate level of <br />support. <br />"Office/Commercial" development was most popular with: <br />* Households containing children <br />* $50,000-$62,500 yearly income households <br />"Industry" was key to: <br />* 45-54 year olds <br />* $37,500-$50,000 yearly income households <br />"Residential" development was even more popular among <br />$25,000-$37,5Q0 yearly income households. <br />"None" was the response by Zone 2 residents. <br />Next, residents were asked about develapment priorities in <br />Z35 <br />
