Seniars, 55-64 year olds, high schoal graduates, $50,000- <br />$62,500 yearly income households, and Zone 3 residents were most <br />content with the current format. <br />The City may wish to investigate the problem in reaching <br />apartment residents in the larger buildings within the community. <br />Cable Televisian Viewership: <br />Roseville citizens were asked a short set of questians about <br />their cable television viewing. First, subscription rates were <br />determined: <br />Does your hous�ehold curreatly <br />subscribe to aable television? <br />Forty-three percent of the households reported subscribing to the <br />system: <br />YES.......................................43� <br />NO........................................57� <br />Cable subscription was higher among 55-64 year olds and Zone <br />4 residents. Senior coupJ.es, over 65 year olds, and $37,500- <br />$50,000 yearly income households were much less likely to <br />subscribe to cable services. <br />Subscribers were next asked if they watched local <br />programming: <br />For each of the tollowinq, please <br />tell me if you watch it frequently, <br />occasionally, rarely, or not at al2? <br />A list of four programs were read: <br />Local government access Channel 16? <br />On].y nineteen percent of the community watched Channel 16: <br />FREQUENTLY .................................5� <br />OCCASIONALLY ..............................14% <br />RARELY .....................................8% <br />NOT AT ALL ................................16� <br />This was equivalent to a forty-four percent subscriber <br />157 <br />
