Their reaction <br />to the concept was garnered first: <br />There has been discussion recently <br />about providinq selected city services <br />to adjacent suburbs on a contract fee <br />basis. The City of Roseville would <br />provide, for example, poliCe or fire <br />protection in return for a mon�hly <br />payment to cover costs. The money <br />would be used to provide better ser- <br />vice in both the adjacent community <br />and Roseville, at no additional costs <br />to Roseville residents. <br />Do you feel that Roseville should <br />provide contract services to neiqh- <br />borinq ci�ies, or nat? <br />By over four-to-one, respondents supported contracting with <br />neighboring communities: <br />YES .......................................77� <br />NO....----• ...............................180 <br />DON'T KNOW/REFUSED .........................5� <br />Only eighteen percent were opposed. <br />33 <br />
