First, participation was established: <br />As you may know, there is a curbside <br />pick-up recyclinq service for disaarded <br />newsprint, corrugated cardboard, glass, <br />and cans. HousehoZds are asked to <br />separate recyclables from the rest of <br />their trash and haulers Carry them away. <br />Do you now participate in the curbside <br />pick-up reayclinq program? <br />Sixty percent reported using the program: <br />YES.......................................60% <br />NO........................................30� <br />This percentage is somewhat lower than the Metropolitan Area <br />suburban norm. <br />Recyclers were more often: <br />* Households containing children <br />* Owners <br />* Single family home dwellers <br />* Owner-Manager households <br />C'�� <br />
