Mr. Malinen noted that <br />102 ihe policies were provided to the HRC, in their advisory role to the City Council only for the <br />103 purpose of discussion within the HRC; and were protected by State Statute data privacy <br />1 Q4 provisions related to maintaining the operational and procedural safety of law enforce�ment <br />105 personnel without compromising them while carrying out their duties. <br />106 <br />107 <br />108 <br />109 <br />110 <br />111 <br />112 <br />'3 <br />i14 <br />Commissioners concurred that they would discuss the policies at a future rrteeting. <br />Ms. Curti left the meeting at this time; 8:05 p.m. <br />Chair Delmore noted that in the past the HRC didn't meet in July; however, consensus was that <br />they woul.d schedule a meeting in July. <br />Books for Schools <br />115 Chair Delmore noted that %rmer Commissioner Bosch had taken the lead in coordinating the <br />116 book kits for schools and asked Commissioners how they wanted to proceed with ihe project. <br />117 A$er a brief discussion, Chair Delmore said she would e-rnail Ms. Bosch to determine the status <br />118 of the project, school contacts and expectations of the schoals. <br />119 <br />120 Other <br />121 Chair Delmorc reviewed topics for the July agenda including updates on the Housing Ordinance, <br />122 Diversity Forum and Police Department Policies <br />123 <br />124 <br />125 <br />126 <br />127 <br />128 <br />129 <br />Commissioner McKenzie noted other information in the agenda packet; specifically the <br />upcoming state-wide HRC meetings and registration in%rmation. <br />Adjourument <br />Commissioner Venters moved and Commissioner McGehee seconded adjournment of the <br />meeting at 8:12 p.m. Motion carried 5/Q. <br />
