Motion carried 5/0. <br />26 Information Receptacle at City Hall <br />27 As previously discussed, an information receptacle is available at City Hall for research and <br />28 information related to Human Rights interests. <br />29 <br />30 Commissioner Oftelie presented City Manager Malinen with her collection of new resident <br />31 packets and brochures in addition to infortnation she'd collected from the State Human Rights <br />32 conference which included the City of Bloomington's HRC Work Plan and annual report. <br />33 <br />34 Training DVD from State Human Rights League <br />35 Discussion was held on the 4-topic training DVD provided by Chair Delmorc. Consensus was to <br />36 ask Commissioncr Bosch to review the DVDs; and if she did not havc time, to bring ihem back <br />37 to the HRC agenda for the possibility af each Commissioner to choose one to review and report <br />3 S back to the HRC. <br />39 <br />40 Update on Essay Contest/Meeting in February <br />41 Winners of the 20Q7 Essay Contest, per e-mail information received from Ms. Curti, and <br />42 following review and ranking by cach Commissioner were as follows: <br />43 First Place was Essay # 115 at 189 points <br />44 Second Place (tied) were Essays #2l0 and #220 <br />45 Third Place was Essay #26 at 184 points <br />46 Three hanorable mentions went to Essay #s 61, 214 and 222. <br />
