Coramittees will relap i.nformation and make <br />written recommendations to the Commission. <br />B. The Comm�ssion will discuss information and <br />recommendations and apprvve or reject same.'�= <br />This action (in the form of a report with an <br />aQpropriate motion) shall he referred to the <br />City Council and/or State Department of Ifuman <br />Rights. <br />C. A quorum of (5) wi11 be necessary for such <br />action with a majority suffi.cient for passage. <br />The number voting aye and nay wi11 be given. <br />General Duties of the Commission: <br />A. Enlist the coaperation of agencies, organi- <br />zations and individuals in �he community in an <br />active program directed to create equal oppor- <br />tunitp and eliminate discrimination and inequal-- <br />ities. <br />S. Formulate a human relations program for the <br />City of Roseville to give increased effectiveness <br />and direction to the work of a21 individuals <br />and agencies addressing themselves to planni�`� <br />policy making and edu�ational programming in the <br />area of civil an� haman rights. <br />C. Advise the Mayor, the City Council, and <br />other agencies of the government of human <br />relatians and civil rights programs. Act in an <br />adv�sorp capacitp with respect to planning or <br />operation of any city departmer�t on issues of <br />civil and human rights and recommend the adoption <br />of such sgecific policies or ac�ion as are <br />needed to provide for full equal opportunity <br />in the community. <br />
