� �.�5��'b� ��, <br />Human Rights Commission <br />Meeting Minutes, January 13, 2004 <br />Present= Thelma McKenzie, Chair; Steve Zorn, Vice-Chair, Mark Chapin, Janet Delmore, <br />Jacqueline LeM.ay, Larry Voeller, Howard Wagner <br />Absent: Phillip Crumg, Steve Smith, Karen Vnuk <br />Staff: Carolyn Curti <br />Thelma McKenzie called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at <br />Rosevillc City Hall. <br />Approve Minutes <br />Mark Chapin moved agproval of the minutes and Larry Voeller seconded. The minutes were <br />approved unanimously. <br />Essay Contest <br />Chair Thelma McKenzie asked Caraiyn Curti to review the results of the essay cantest. <br />Cornmissioners had scored the tap 28 essays; scores were added and thc top six essays were <br />identified. The winners will be <br />invited to read their essays. Following the presentation, participants vvill be invited to a rcception in <br />the lower level of City Hall. <br />Commission Meetings <br />Carolyn Curti told ihe Commissioners of several meetings that Commissioners are encouraged to <br />participate in. <br />• January 29 - 7:00-9:00 p.m. City Council Chambers. Discussion of the Twin Lakes Area <br />Development. <br />• January 31 - 10:04-3:00 p.m. Home and Garden Fair at the Fairview Community Center. <br />1 <br />
