<br />City of <br /> <br />~~~ <br /> <br />Regular City Council Meeting <br />City Council Chambers, 2660 Civic Center Drive <br />Minutes <br />Monday, December 18,2006 <br /> <br />Call to Order Call to Order <br />Mayor Klausing called to order the Roseville City Council regular <br />meeting at approximately 6:00 p.m. and welcomed everyone. <br /> <br />A public Farewell Reception for Councilmember Dean Maschka <br />was held at 5: 15 p.m., prior to the start of the regular Council <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Roll Call (Voting and Seating Order) <br />Councilmembers Ihlan; Kough; Pust; Maschka and Mayor <br />Klausing. <br /> <br />Recognition of Councilmember Maschka <br />Mayor Klausing, on behalf of the City Council, staff and public, <br />read a proclamation recognizing outgoing-Councilmember Dean <br />Maschka's many years of service in various capacities to, and on <br />behalf of, the City of Roseville and expressed gratitude and <br />appreciation for his distinguished service to the community. <br /> <br />Councilmember Maschka provided characteristically brief <br />comments, expressing his appreciation to, and privilege in serving <br />with, many great leadership teams, and great people. <br /> <br />Public Comment <br />John Goedeke, former Councilmember, having served with Dean <br />Maschka, opined that Mr. Maschka had served the community <br />well; and observed that his expertise in the financial field was <br />much needed. Mr. Goedeke noted that Mr. Maschka had helped <br />him in his public service; and wished Mr. Maschka well in his <br />"retirement" from the Roseville City Council. <br />
