<br />City Council Regular Meeting - 12/18/06 <br />Minutes - Page 21 <br /> <br />involvement in the process, and the obvious love and commitment <br />of residents for their community. <br /> <br />Additional discussion included timing, format and content of the <br />final report from Ms. Carroll for long-term future use; suggestion <br />of Ms. Carroll for a future Council retreat to consider <br />implementation of the various components of the report; inclusion <br />of community center discussions; Council strategy in how to <br />proceed with various components of the goals and strategies; <br />Council determination of priorities; and how to determine those <br />items suggested by residents and those items having majority <br />consensus (i.e., community center or meeting place(s).) <br /> <br />Mayor Klausing, along with Councilmember Pust, thanked <br />members of the Steering Committee; Ms. Carroll; and community <br />participants in the process; and for the amazing amount of work <br />done, and for citizen's active participation; and the resulting great <br />end-product. <br /> <br />Ms. Carroll anticipated that her final report to the Council would <br />be forthcoming within two weeks. <br /> <br />7. <br /> <br />Consider a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) for Cummings <br />Mobility <br />City Planner Thomas Paschke provided an historical record of <br />events to-date related to Planning File 3767 and the request, filed <br />administratively by the City's Planning staff, for a Conditional <br />Use Permit in accordance with City Code, Section 1005.015 and <br />Section 1013.01, for property located at 1755 County Road C, to <br />bring the property use into compliance with existing City Code, <br />following realignment and widening of County Road C, as well as <br />revised use of the property by the applicant, Cummings Mobility. <br />The request was for a CUP for a motor vehicle dealership <br />allowing the retrofitting and sale of new and used handicap <br />accessible vehicles on the premises. <br /> <br />Mr. Paschke noted that this case was continued from the <br />November 27,2006 regular City Council meeting. <br /> <br />Councilmember Ihlan reiterated her support for an Interim Use <br />Permit, rather than a Conditional Use Permit for the property, <br /> <br />Resolution 10460 <br />Public Hearing to <br />Consider a CUP <br />Cummings <br />Mobility <br />
