Malinen, effective January 8, 2007, as <br />negotiated and as presented as a Bench Handout at tonight's <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Ihlan; Kough; Pust; Maschka and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />Consider Janitorial Service Contract <br />Councilmember Ihlan suggested that consideration of this contract <br />extension be delayed until the January 8, 2007 meeting. <br /> <br />Councilmember Kough concurred, noting that he had several <br />comments on the proposed contract extension. <br /> <br />Mayor Klausing noted that action had already been continued <br />from the previous meeting; and suggested the topic be addressed <br />at the Council's January 22,2007 Study Session. <br /> <br />12. <br /> <br />Consider Organizational Changes and Budget Adjustments to <br />the Community Development Department <br />Community Development Director John Stark sought Council <br />consideration of recommended revisions to the Community <br />Development budget as part of the City budget approval process. <br />Mr. Stark noted that the Community Development Department <br />operates as an enterprise fund, expending only funds that are a <br />result of its revenues, and did not receive any operational funding <br />form the General Fund of General Levy. <br /> <br />Mr. Stark summarized his staff report dated December 18, 2006, <br />and specifically sought a two percent budget increase equating to <br />an additional $40,500 in department operational spending for <br />2007, allocated as follows: <br />· Increase the budget for the Economic Development Division <br />by $25,350 in "Personnel Services." <br /> <br />Consider Janitorial <br />Service Contract <br /> <br />Organizational <br />Changes and <br />Budget <br />Adjustments to the <br />Community <br />Development <br />Department <br />
