Japanese Exchanqe <br />The contact person for this exchange is Council Member Brenda <br />Thomas, telephone: 482-9177. Thomas explained she has been <br />working on this exchange with Pat Holl�ster. <br />Seven students and four adults wili be coming to Roseville <br />from Shinmachi, Japan. The biggest priority is finding homes <br />for the visitors. Two homes have already been found, but the <br />Committee needs to get the word out that more homes are <br />needed. This can be dane via City Newsletter, newspapers, <br />etc. Martha Hardesty volunteered to contact Parkview School <br />and Brenda Thomas stated she will contact the Middle School <br />regarding the need far homes. <br />The Japanese visitors will need to be met the morning of <br />August 7, and will be leaving on August 14. An itinerary is <br />being planned for them including entertainment, a picnic, and <br />a farewell party. <br />7. Next_Meetinq <br />The next meeting zs scheduled for Wednesday, June 5, at 7:00 <br />p.m., in the Roseville City Hall. Cauncil Member Thomas will <br />attend to present more information about the Japanese <br />visitors from Shinmachi. <br />
