Roseville Sister City Association <br />Minutes <br />February 7, 2006 <br />Present: Jan Schultz, Peggy Sandmann, Tom and Virginia Turba <br />The minutes of December 6, 2005 werc approved as printed. <br />`l'here was no treasurers report. <br />Shinmachi Report. <br />Tom distributed copies of the article that will appear in the Roseville newsletter about <br />the association existing for 15 years. It also explains the dissolution of the <br />Shirunachi/Roseville relationship. <br />Costa. Rica Report <br />Tom has heard from a contact there. The Mayor, Craig Klausing and his family are <br />planning a vacation to Costa Rica in March and Tom will set up some contacis for him. <br />T'here was a positive response from the community band for a friendship trip to Costa <br />Rica. About '/2 of the band members expressed an interest in a week long trip. The plan <br />will be aimed for 2008. In the mean time, more information will be obtained about any <br />`festivals' that occur after April 1 S. Information on renting or borrowing large <br />instrumenis will also be sought. <br />Tom will contact lhe band leader, Dan Koch, for more information. <br />The next meeting date is Tuesday, March 7th at 630 pm. <br />Respectfully Submitted. <br />Virginia Turba <br />
