Station I.ocation, Apparatns, and Staffing Analysis
Roseville, MN
Proposed 2 Stations
In order to reduce operating costs while maintaining excellent service delivery for the
city of Roseville i# is praposed to eliminate the ecisting Station 2 and relocate Station 1 to the
vicinity of County Road C W and Snelling Avenue N. Starion 3 would subsequently become
Station 2. Station 3(proposed Station 2) is an aging structure and it is recommended that the
facility be remodeled and updated to meet current standards. Map 3 depicts the location of these
stations.
Map 3: Proposed Station Locations
A map was constructed in order to determine whether or coverage will increase, decrease,
or remain the same once a fire station has been removed. Map 4 illustrates the theoretical
coverage for this proposed change to a two station system at the four, six, and eight minute
response time reach.
System Planning Corporation 16 May 2008
TriData Division
