The purpose for the test was to determine the resulting material
constiiruents resulting from single-sort collection and processing.
The TCMRl is an integrated facility accepting materials frotn severa.l types of colcction styles
(streams)_ The process lines are linked and various streams are processed concurrently on the
process lines during normal operat7ions. Therefore, a separate running of just sgle-sort nnaterial
was required to classify constituents and process results for this sfiream.
Pracedures
Waste Management hauling operat7ions provided singe-sort material to the TCMRF on a
Saturday morning for the segregated processing of material collected exclusively by ts method_
All xnaterial was processed in the facility according to normal operating procedures_ Firocessed
materials were collected and weighed to determine make-up.
