Notify Drivers and �perators <br />Cox�firm all logistics, schedules, roles, and responsibilities with affected individuals <br />after receiving approval from their management (e_g., Waste Management (WM) <br />dtivers and City Pnblic Works Departrnent (PWD) skid-steer operator). <br />2. Secure Ali Equipment and Facilities <br />Secure coxnmitrnents for all equipment (see Attachment A,`�ort Equipment Checiclisfj. <br />Note that appropriate lead-time will be needed for approval, receipt and training for <br />the operation of the: (a) City Police Department portable txuck scale; and (2) the OEA <br />platform scale. Appropriate lead-time will also be need for request, approval, and <br />delivery of necessary zoII-off boxes and 90-gallon carts from WM. We recomrnend <br />the City ask WM to deliver roll-off boxes that are at least 40-yards iu� capacity. <br />3. Prepare Gity PWD Salt Shed <br />Sweep and barricade (if necessary) the Cit�s salt shed within the PWD yard. Tdentify <br />designated sorting area and platform scale station area (removed from any vehicle <br />lraffc). Provide electrical power extension cords and card protectors {if needed) for <br />platform scale. <br />4. Se�-Up Equipmenf <br />Arrange for delivery and positioning of roll-oif boxes, 90-gallon carts, tzuck scale, and <br />platform sca�e. <br />5. Record Tare Weigh#s on Carts <br />Weigh and record the weight of empty 90-gal�on carts to be used for sort categories. <br />M:iFi�� <br />
