A�tachmenf B <br />Truck Weighing & Load Tipping �perations <br />The truck weighing and load tipping procednres written herein are for the maximum <br />work effort for the BEFORE"two-sor€' Monday pilot routes (i.e., two trucks). Most <br />pilot routes will be collected by one truck, one route per day. <br />1 St truck <br />1. Direc� first truck onto (portab[e Police Depf.} #ruck scale <br />Record truck"I'OTAL" gross weight on data sheet (see Attachment C, `�ata Sheets� [to <br />come]. <br />2. Direct truck to �ip first category [ei#�er fiber or containers] in#o back of <br />salt s�ed <br />Note load type, location in shed, and any uz�ique characteristics (e.g., safety hazarc�s) <br />an data sheet. <br />3. Tarp load <br />Tarp the load (if needed) to keep separate from #he second txuck. <br />4. Direct firsf truck back fo tre�ck scale <br />Record truck`�UBTOTAI;'weight on data sheet. <br />5. Direct first truck fo tip second category irito back of shed <br />Note load type, location in shed, and any unique characteristics (e.g., safety hazards) <br />on data sheet. <br />6. Tarp load <br />Tarp the load (if needed) to keep separate from the second h-uck. <br />7. Direct first truck back to frucfc scale <br />Record eznpty"T�1RE'weight on data sheet. <br />ZND tPIICIC <br />Repeat steps #1 through #7 above as needed for 2nd truck (and for ncxt da}�s <br />trucks/routes if multi-day storage is requued). <br />We recommend dizecting the 2°`� truck driver to tip away from the lst truck loads, <br />leaving some space between the piles. A1so, direct the 2nd truck driver to tip the`�ape�' <br />load near the 1� trucl�s`�ontainei�'pile to help differentiate piles if tliey get close and <br />start commingling. <br />B-2 R. W.
