50th Anniversary Committee Minutes <br />June 19, 1997 <br />The Fine Arts Councif will hold a Fine Arts Show in May and June, 1998. <br />Page 2 <br />Rose Diestfer reported that the Lake Qwasso Garden Ciub wil! hold a flower show at the <br />Ramsey Caunty Library in August, 1998. <br />A motion to ask the following people to serve on the Finance Committee was approved: <br />Chairman: Tom Johnson <br />Members: Donovan Fisher <br />Ken Hansen <br />George Krinke <br />Don Zibell - accepted <br />Funding was discussed. The 50th Anniversary and the Parade funds wilf be raised jointly <br />by the Committee so the two will not compete for the same dollars. <br />A motion to ask the following people to serve on the Publici#y Committee was approved: <br />Ray Bar�on <br />Joan Guertin <br />Mike Hermes <br />Greg Peterson <br />Lir�da Owen, St. Paul Pioneer Press <br />Roseville Focus Reporter <br />Roseville Re�iew Reporter <br />A motion to appoint Lane Christ�anson Chair af fhe Logo/slogan/theme Committee was <br />approvecf, and Tia Rallefson was ap�roved as a Committee member. <br />A motion for Frank Rog to chair the Salute to industry was approved_ <br />There was a discussion of a letter being sent to the ci�ic organizations asking them fio join <br />the celebration by having their own event. The le#ter would be folEowed up by a personal <br />call from a Committee member_ We will discuss this further at the next meeting.
