� ROSEVILLE 50TH ANNIVERSARY COMMITTEE ROSEVILLE ACTIVITY CENTER 28Q0 ARONA WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 3, 1997 MINUTES ATTENDING Don Anderson, Ray Barton, Carmen Bell, Bob Bierscheid, Bob Cardinal, Rose Diestler, Dawne Engelmayer, Donovan Fisher, Joan Gerien, Ken Hansen, Lorraine Hansen, Mary Harris, Pat Johnson, Dolores Niewald, Steve North, and Donald Zibell. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chairperson Pat Johnson. APPROVAL QF MINUTES Carmen Bell moved, Joan Gerten seconded, that the November 5, 1997 Committee Minutes be approved. All ayes. COMMITTEE REPORTS ROSEViLLE 50TH BIRTHDAY BASH—Larraine Hansen indicated no additional report at this time. ROSE PARADE—Pat Johnson indicated the Committee has sent letters to parade participanis. CELEBRATE WITH MUSIC/50 YEAR RESIDENT RECOGNITION—Pat Johnson reported for Afice Marks that the Community Band will play for the event. TASTE OF ROSEVILLEISALUTE TO VOLUNTEERSISALUTE TO BUSIIdESS AND INDUSTRY—Pat Johnson indicated the possibility of incorporating a carnival is again being explored. Discussions have occurred with a carnival ow�er who would be available the weekend of August 22 and 23. Carmen Be(I moved, Joan Gerten seconded, that fihe Taste O'f RosevillelSalute To Volunteers even� be changed from August 16, 1998 to August 22 and 23, 1998. All ayes. This would mean fhe carnival, craft show, and Taste �f Roseville activities coufd occur on both days and perhaps even Friday evening, August 21. Dolores Niewald reported that ihe Craft Fair Committee has been cantacting possible vendors for participation and wi[l be meeting again soon. Expanding the event to two days may increase the possibilities of obtaining more participants. DANCING ON R�SES—Mary Harris indicafed planning is going well. She has had same people that are willing to teach line dancing at the event.
