Denny asked if the committee would like to have ribbons to go with their buttons that would designate them as committee members. lt. was agreed to do that. Denny also suggested that there will be a"button carding" party to put together the cards and the buttons. SHIRT COMMITTEE - Approximately 70 sweatshirts have been sold so far. They will be available at the Home and Garden Show and also at the April ice Skating Show. Golf shirts and sweatshirts are available for $20.00 wikh XXL selling for $22.0(?. CRAFT COMIIIITTF,E - Not report at this time. PIONEER PORTRAIT COMIIZITTEE - Interested people are caliing in concerning the video portraits. Herman Zittel has been completed and Harry Kathy wiil be the next person video taped. QTHER BUSINESS - It was suggested that the committee have a float or unit in the parade. Bob Bierscheid will look into getting some type of unit. A flat hed was suggested to be decorated with the Roseville Button insignia and possibly would include the Banjo Band. It was suggested that comrnittee members could sell buttons and shirts along the parade route. Dan Zibell as�Ced if we would have an occasion to have the governor present a proclamation proclaiming Roseviile Days. I� was thought to be a very good idea and that the RirtE�day Bash might be a very good time to do that as that would kick off the events for the 50th Anniversary. Don has also talked with John Thein, Roseville Area Schools about inte�est in the anniversary and he will foliaw up on that. Steve North reported that Roseville now has a"news fax' that gces to different papers and people. It is not a true.press release, liut does give information on upcoming events. Call Steve by Monclays at 4:30 if you have any items you would like included in that "news fax". Also, the April newsletter would be a good spot for May information.
