• Banquet is budgeted at $3Q0 <br />• July 4 concert is budgeted $1Q0 <br />• Taste of Roseville is budgeted $5,0�0 <br />� Publicity costs wi11 be the contribution of the city <br />• Press costs at this time are none as Ray l�as been contributing <br />the postage himself <br />� Total income to date is $14,500 the committee needs <br />i approximately $13 - 14,OOQ more <br />• The committee will be making fua-ther contacts to businesses in <br />the next few weeks <br />PUSLICITY COMMITTEE - Ray Barton reported that Linda Owen from <br />the Pioneer Press had run an article on the 50th Anniversary on Tuesday, <br />March 31. When Ray spoke with Linda, she was very impressed by what <br />Roseville is doing and feels that it deserves a lot of publicity. She felt it <br />was premature to do a large story at this time, but that she will continue to <br />meet with Ray and Pat to be updated. Caral McFarlin also called from the <br />Pioneer Press to say that she would be happy to cooperate and wili <br />coordinate with Linda. Ray will be calling the Minneapolis Star on Monday. <br />At this time, Dlah� Lang reported that she had also spoke with Carol <br />McFarlin and rhat St. Paul Pioneer Press will have a float in the parade. <br />Ray also asked coinmittee chairs fill out news release forms that he has <br />available. <br />Both Barb Mastel and Lorraine Hansen thanked Ray for all the publicity he <br />has been doing for the SOth anniversary. <br />SKATING CENTER EVENTS C�ORDINATIQN - The Roseville Ice Show is <br />Apri� 24, 25, and 26 and shirts, sweatshirts and buttons will be available <br />at that time. <br />BUTTON COMMITTEE - Denny Harris reporked that approximately 60� <br />buttons have heen sold so far. Denny and Ken have been approaching local <br />business abaut puzchasing a number of buttons for direct sale. All <br />committee members were given a blue ribbon to wear with their buttons. <br />SHIRT COMMITTEE - Approximately 70 sweatshirts have been sold so <br />tar. They will be available at the April Ice Skating Show, Earth Day at <br />Harriet Alexander Nature Center on April 25. Golf shirts and sweatshirts <br />are available for $20.00 with XXL selling for $22.00. <br />PIONEER PORTRAIT COMMITTEE - A numbez of Roseville residents <br />were videotaped over the past weekend at the CT`T Studio. Due to the <br />response, another time will possibly be set for more taping interviews. <br />50th Anniversary Committee q, <br />
