Frank Rog is heading up that portion of the weekend. • Security, parking and transportatioi� wi11 be of prime interest to the committee in the next �ew weeks. The eommittee xs working with the city on those areas. • Many volunteers will be needed that weekend. Lorraine Hansen introduced Toin Alleva, Deputy Police Chief, who will be helping in a�l areas of traffic, security, etc. throughvut a�l the events for the SOth anniversary. DANCING ON ROSES - Tom Kough reported thafi a letter had been sent to President Clinton inviting hi to attend. The cammittee will be meeting next to tie in food vendors for the event. G()LDEN ROSE BANQUET - Carmen Bell reported that cominittee wi�l be meeting on Aprxl 13. • Carmen reported that there will be two men� choices that evening. • Carmen asked for input from the SOth anniversary committee as to who to invite to the banquet. Individual invitations will not be sent out to keep the expenses lower, so will rely on public�ty for the event through Ray Barton and ihe city newsletters and newspapers. • Cost for �he banquet will be approxxmately $30.00 per person, this will give the committee approximately $1.00 per person for extra items. • Lake �wasso Gaxden Club is doing the centerpxeces. • There will be a display in the fireplace room priar to dinn�r - slides and a video history of Roseville. • Everyone attending will receive a historicai favor. • All SOth anniversary committee members are invited tp attend the event. OPERATING COMMITTE� REPORTS FINANCE COMMITTEE - Tom Johnson reported that the budgets for the following committees are: • Birthday Bash -$500.00 spansared by the Roseville Bank • Parade is budgeted at $15,000 • Dance is budgeted $3,500. • Salute to Industry is budgeCed $5,000 SUth Anniversary Committec 3
