All ayes. <br />COA�IMITTEE REPORTS <br />RQSE PARADE - Diane Lang reported that the parade was an overwhelming success. She was <br />very pleased with the turn out for the parade and with aIl the people willing to volunteer their time <br />to help. This was the largest parade with 120 units. There have been many pasitive comments on <br />the parade. Diane also reported that the parade came zn under budget. Thanks to Diane and her <br />coFnmittee for a job well doQe? <br />CELEBRATE WITH MUSIC/50 YEAR RESIDENT RECOGNITION - Alice Marks <br />reported that the evening �vvas rnuch appreciated by all - both seniors that were recognized and <br />many non-seniors w�o felt that the evening vvas very well done and things went very smoothiy. <br />The roses that were given out were a very nice touch. Thanks to AIice and her committee for a fun <br />evening! <br />TASTE OF ROSEVILLE/SALUTE TO VOLUNTEERS/SALUTE TO BUSINESS <br />AND INDUSTRY - Each comrnittee gave a brief report regarding the upcoming events: <br />• The carnival wilt run for 3 days and will be set up in the north parking lot of <br />the Roseville Ice Arena. <br />• Betty Wolfangle reported on the volunteer portion. There are appro�mately 4,000 names <br />of volunteers that will be recognized. Postcard invitatians will be rnailed next week. <br />Volunteers receiving a card will need to bring it to the "volunteer tent" on Saturday to <br />receive their recogtution gift. The names of a31 the voIunteers will be posted on a"wall of <br />volunteers" khat will be on the oval in alphabetical order. The electronic score board will <br />list all the volunteer organizations (over 100} that are active in Roseville. <br />• Denny and Mary Harris are organizing the many volunteers that will be needed for the <br />weekend. They are contacting the Kiwanis and the NSP retirees. <br />• Bud Memll has been very busy coorciinafing all the grounds set up and the activities. <br />Letters and an itinerary are being sent to all the participants. Dave Seaberg will be <br />working wit� all the electrical needed for that day. Bud thanked the volunteers and <br />especially the Parks and Recreation Department for their willingness to help. <br />• Dolores Niewald reported that there a.re 61 crafters committed for the weekend and she is <br />extremely pleased with the quaIity af the crafters. It has been a fantastic turnout for thc <br />first year of a craft show. The craft portio� will set up F'riday evening and run aIl day <br />Saturday and Snnday. Post cards will be sent next week to all cz�afters with their booth <br />number and directions to the oval. <br />• Joan Kapaun is coordinating organizations that are interested in having a table in <br />"volunteer way" to advertise their organizations. The tables will be provided by parks and <br />rec. <br />• Frank Rog reported on the lasertainment show. Jim Clasen will read information about <br />the businesses in Roseville before the actual Iaser show begins. Background music for <br />
