In 1999, Rosefest will be June 25- July 4, with the parade on Monday,
June 28 and the Rn/Walk/Roll on Saturday, June 2b. Somc of the recommendations were:
 Central Park
The Oval if more signage was in place (It was reported that the city is in the process of
erecting a large sign on County Road C that will announce activities at the Oval)
-- No camivaE
Crafters/ taste baoths on the ball fields at Cetral Park
-- Need visibility
A drawback to Centrai Paric is the possible lack of enough electricity
in 1987 there was a craft show along the path at Centra Park on the south side of the lake
-- Advantages to havin it during Rose Fest arc that it is an established evcnt, publicity is already
in place, disadvantages is that the city staff is already maxcd out at that tirne with the number of
cvents being held
Hold the craft fair/taste on Saturday and Sunday prior to the parade
-- Are we trying to do too much in a short space of time?
- The city wauld need a comrnittee that would be willing to take on the event, much like the
50th anniversary cornmittee
-- Are we looking for continuity, identity
50TH Anniversary
