<br />Roseville City Council <br />Minutes of 1/29/07 Pg 14 of 38 <br />Public Comment <br />Ms. Bloom provided three written public comments for the record, <br />from property owners at 3096 Ridgewood Road, 3076 Asbury Street, and <br />3104 Ridgewood Road. <br /> <br />Herb Mischke, 3100 Ridgewood Road <br />Mr. Mischke noted that, even as a Roseville resident, he was a member of an <br />association known as Arden Hills Subdivision 3, and the vibrant, cohesive <br />partnership in the association and community. Mr. Mischke welcomed the <br />partnership with Arden Hills; noted the 1998 petition signed by residents and <br />in 2001 again, thanked City for their sensitivity to the neighborhood needs, <br />and his involvement with 18 of the 20 residents, with 15 of the 18 residents <br />represented speaking in favor of Option 2. Mr. Mischke spoke to the sub- <br />current of the minority preferring no project, and rural section roadways be- <br />ing maintained, not reconstructed. <br /> <br />Mr. Mischke expressed appreciation to Ms. Bloom, the City's Engineer, for <br />her sensitivity to the neighborhood concerns and wishes. <br /> <br />Theresa Gedes (S?), 3116 Ridgewood Road <br />Ms. Gedes spoke as a new resident of the community; and encouraged the <br />need to leverage cooperative efforts with the City of Arden Hills; the friend- <br />liness of the neighborhood; and their awareness of pending projects. <br /> <br />Ms. Bloom clarified the assessment process; pending assessments on record <br />at City Hall; final costs and assessments in the fall of2009, for payment on <br />2010 taxes. <br /> <br />Mayor Klausing closed the Public Hearing at approximately 7:57 p.m. <br /> <br />Roe moved, Pust seconded, adoption of Resolution No. 10476 entitled, <br />"Resolution Ordering the Reconstruction of Neighborhood 10;" as amended <br />to include a condition to work with the City of Arden Hills; and proceed <br />with Option 2 as presented by staff. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Roe; Kough; Pust; Ihlan and Klausing. <br />Nays: None <br /> <br />Councilmember Pust thanked Ms. Bloom for her ongoing work with <br />neighborhoods for proposed improvements. <br />
