<br />Roseville City Council <br />Minutes of 1/29/07 Pg 28 of 38 <br />lined by the makers of the motion, and while there were legitimate concerns <br />there were was to address them, but didn't serve as a basis for denial. <br /> <br />Councilmember Roe advised that he would vote against this motion, but <br />would support an alternative motion for approval; and encouraged the <br />neighbors to respect their differences, and encouraged them to participate in <br />the subdivision discussion as part of the upcoming moratorium study. <br /> <br />Councilmember Ihlan responded to comments and positions of Council- <br />members; expressed her frustration; and reiterated her rationale for support- <br />ing denial based on her proposed findings of fact. <br /> <br />Councilmember Kough concurred with Councilmember Ihlan regarding his <br />rationale for denial. <br /> <br />Roll Call <br /> <br />Ayes: Kough and Ihlan. <br />Nays: Roe; Pust and Klausing. <br />Motion failed. <br /> <br />Klausing moved, Pust seconded, approval of the Preliminary Plat, named <br />Oak Acres, for Art Mueller, creating four legal, conforming single-family <br />residential lots and a public cul-de-sac street on the 1.9 acre parcel at 2201 <br />Acorn Road; based on information in Section 4 and conditions of Section 5 <br />of the project report dated November 1,2006 and updated January 29,2007. <br /> <br />Mayor Klausing concurred with the observations of Councilmember Roe, <br />and encouraged neighbors to remain neighbors and respect their different <br />opmJOns. <br /> <br />Roe moved, Klausing seconded, a friendly amendment to Section 5.2 to con- <br />dition the width of the "non" cul-de-sac roadway consistent with and match <br />the width of Acorn Road. <br /> <br />Mayor Klausing sought clarification from the City Engineer; with Ms. <br />Bloom clarifying Acorn Road's width back to back at 24' and actual black- <br />top at 19'; with "No Parking" designation on either side. <br />
