City of Roseville, Minnesota <br />2002 Budget <br />ROSEVILLE AREA SENIOR PROGRAM <br />DEPARTMENTAL DESCRIPTION <br />Fund: General <br />Account Number: 100 - 027.000 <br />Organizational Accountability: City Manager <br />The City assists the Roseville Area Senior Program with some <br />funding for continuing the Senior Citizen outreach efforts. <br />Because of the social nature of the spending, it will be closely <br />monitored for effectiveness. <br />CITY RESOURCE INPUTS <br />EXPECTED CITY OUTCOMES <br />Strategic Outcomes: <br />Basic needs of all senior citizens met <br />Reasonable quality of life assured for <br />any senior who may be vulnerable to <br />economic or social events <br />IV-22 <br />2002 STxATEGIC WORK <br />PLAN <br />To provide transportation support <br />for senior citizens and families <br />whose children are in the school <br />readiness program <br />2000 ACHIEVEMENTS <br />it Provided 92 adults and 16 children <br />transportation services in 2000. <br />(Multiple trips) <br />Citizen Benefit /Impact: <br />Community wellbeing is enhanced as <br />outreach programs search out and <br />assure the basic needs of senior <br />citizens are fulfilled <br />
