City of Roseville — 2004 Budget Department /Program: Finance Department Organizational Responsibility: Finance Director Department Description The Finance Department provides for the financial operations of the City and is responsible for all treasury operations, debt management, and risk management activities. The Department's activities are accounted for in the General Fund 2004 Goals and Objectives • Review citywide purchasing strategies, to determine whether potential savings exists. • Continue review feasibility and potential benefits of multi -year budgeting. • Analyze alternative procedures for the utility billing function. • Streamline operations to accommodate staffing reductions.
