Mr. Petersen reviewed this opportunity for the GLWMO Board to participate and participate in financing
at a cost of $200 for a training video spearheaded by the RWMWD, based on the information he had
provided to the GLWMO Board earlier via e-mail, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part
hereof. Mr. Petersen noted that the City of Roseville was also participating in funding the video project,
as part of their MS4 permit requirements; as well as Capitol Region Watershed District and other
agencies. Mr. Petersen advised that this instructional video would be targeted at contractors to provide
assistance to them in installing storm water features as part of their development projects. Mr. Petersen
advised that he had been assured that the GLWMO Board, if they chose to participate, would be listed in
the credits, ensuring their participation for posterity.

Board members were supportive of participation.

Motion 12- 0211-08
Member Von De Linde moved, and Member Barrett seconded approval of encumbering an amount not to
exceed $200 for participation in sponsoring the bio -filter training video project; payable to the Rice Creek
WD.

Ayes: 3 Nays: 0 Motion carried.

Discussions were held on other potential opportunities or partnerships and pending projects with VLAMO
and/or RWMWD; with some discussion on the upcoming Waterfest and whether formal sponsorship by
the GLWMO Board in that event was prudent since it was geared toward children rather than adults.

Ms. Lewis noted that the Waterfest was after the BWSR Public Hearing, and therefore would not be
appropriate for the GLWMO Board to participate, since it would have been dissolved.

Board members noted that funding was available if in the next few weeks other beneficial opportunities
were found.

Whether events were formally sponsored by the GLWMO Board or not, Member Von De Linde noted
that Board Members could still volunteer as citizens and facilitate ongoing education and outreach of
water quality issues in the regional area.

Review of 2012 Budget (Item 7.17)
Mr. Petersen briefly reviewed the 2012 Budget based on the Treasurer's Report for February; as well as
2011 Budget close -out items.

By GLWMO Board consensus, Mr. Petersen advised that he would continue to use the abridged format
for the duration of the GLWMO Board.

March 2012 Regular Meeting Date
Motion 12- 0211-09
Member Barrett moved, and Member Von De Linde seconded approval of rescheduling the March regular
meeting date from March 15 to March 22, 2012; and directed Mr. Petersen to alert member cities of this
date change as applicable.

Ayes: 3 Nays: 0 Motion carried.

Adiourn
Motion 12- 0211-10
