<br />City of <br /> <br />~~~ <br /> <br />Special City Council Meeting <br />Minutes <br />Roseville City Hall Council Chambers <br />2660 Civic Center Drive <br />Thursday, March 29, 2007 <br /> <br />Introduction <br />Mayor Klausing called to order a Special Meeting of the Roseville City Council at <br />approximately 7 :00 p.m., and welcomed everyone. The purpose of the meeting <br />was to receive the Imagine Roseville 2025 Steering Committee Final Report. <br />Mayor Klausing noted that the Steering Committee had provided the report to the <br />City Council in December of 2006; however, the City Council held off formally <br />receiving the report to allow the City Council and Steering Committee time to re- <br />view the report in more detail, and provide an opportunity for focused dialogue on <br />the report. <br /> <br />Call Roll <br />Councilmembers Kough and Roe, and Mayor Klausing were present. Mayor <br />Klausing advised that Councilmembers Ihlan and Pust would be arriving later in <br />the evening, due to scheduling conflicts. Councilmember Pust arrived at 7: 1 0 p.lU. <br />and Councilmember Ihlan arrived at 7:55 p.m. <br /> <br />Steering Committee members present were William Majerus; Ann Berry; Mark <br />Traynor; Lisa Edstrom; Karl Keel; and Stephen Burwell. Consultant Anne R. Car- <br />roll of Carroll, Franck & Associates was also in attendance, but didn't participate <br />in the discussion during the meeting. <br /> <br />City Manager Bill Malinen, along with City Department Heads were present as <br />well. <br /> <br />Committee member Karl Keel served as group spokesman in presenting the Steer- <br />ing Comluittee's Executive Summary; with additional comments and observations <br />provided by each respective Steering Committee member present. <br /> <br />Committee luembers distributed, as a Bench Handout, the Steering Committee's <br />Vision Stateluent. <br />
