<br />Special City Council Meeting <br />Thursday, March 29, 2007 <br />Page 19 of 20 <br /> <br />Pust enthusiastically moved, Roe and Kough simultaneously seconded, approving <br />a formal motion to adopt the final report and executive summary of the Imagine <br />Roseville 2025 Steering Comlnittee; and recognized the excellent work and sub- <br />stantial time and energy commitment of the Steering Committee, subcommittees <br />and their Chairpersons, and the participating citizens of Roseville; and thanked the <br />Roseville City Council for pursuing the visioning process. Councilmember Pust <br />encouraged the City Council and citizens to commit to continued discussions in <br />making the vision an actuality and not just a piece of paper; and to actively set the <br />tone for the community and its future. <br /> <br />Mayor Klausing reiterated the community's and City Council's appreciation to the <br />Steering Committee, subcommittees, Chairs, community people who participated, <br />both residents and business owners; expressed appreciation to staff for their sup- <br />port and expertise; and to Consultant Anne Carroll. Mayor Klausing noted that <br />this document represented the efforts of many people; and he looked forward, with <br />excitement, to working on bringing the vision to fruition, recognizing the endless <br />series of opportunities. Mayor Klausing personally opined that, while often it <br />seemed elected officials had an endless series of opportunities to irritate people, <br />this process was what it all came down to and encompassed what it was actually all <br />about and the legacy one group left for the future. <br /> <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Pust; Ihlan; Kough; Roe and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />City Manager Malinen advised that staff would be bringing specifics from the <br />document back for future discussion and City Council action as appropriate. <br /> <br />Adjourn <br />The meeting was adjourned at 8:33 p.m. <br />
