<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 18th day of June 2007, at 6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Kough, Pust, Ihlan, Roe, and Mayor Klausing <br />and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />Council Member Roe introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10517 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT IN ACCORDANCE <br />WITH ~1005.015 AND ~1013.01 OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE <br />FOR ROSEDALE COMMONS LP AND PETSMART, <br />2480 FAIRVIEW AVENUE (pF07-026). <br /> <br />WHEREAS, PetSmart (in cooperation with Rosedale Commons LP, property owner) has <br />requested a CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT to allow a pet and pet supply store within Rosedale <br />Commons shopping center; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the use, pet and pet supply store, required a CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />in ~1013.01 of the Roseville City Code; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the subject property is located at 1800 Highway 36 Frontage Road and <br />legally described as: <br /> <br />Lot 1, Block 1, Roseville Square <br />PID 09-29-23-13-0033 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 1013 establishes the criteria for reviewing conditional use permits, <br />which is as follows: <br /> <br />a. Impact on traffic <br />b. Impacts on parks, streets and other public facilities <br />c. Compatibility of the site plan, internal circulation, landscaping and structure with <br />contiguous properties <br />d. Impact of the use on market value of contiguous properties <br />e. Impact on the general public health, safety and welfare <br />f. Compatibility with the City's Comprehensive Plan <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The Roseville Planning Commission held the public hearing regarding the <br />PetSmart request on June 6, 2007, recommending (6-0) approval of the CONDITIONAL USE <br />PERMIT, subject to conditions; <br /> <br />1 <br />
