<br />General Overview <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />The 2014-2017 Strategic Plan is enclosed. The Strategic Plan is developed by City Staff in <br />accordance with City Council goals. It provides the framework for the Budget, program <br />priorities and the Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). It also provides the long-term work direction <br />for each City Department. <br /> <br />The Strategic Plan is incorporated into a larger Performance Management Program - a <br />comprehensive approach to improving results through systematic processes and continuous <br />evaluation. The Plan encompasses a 4-year period that includes the next two biennial budgets. <br /> <br />The Strategic Plan contains a separate section for each Department. Each Department’s portion <br />of the Plan is separated into the following subject matters: Background, Department Overview, <br />Goals & Priorities, Actions Plans, and Performance Measures & Results. <br /> <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />
