<br />Create a succession, leadership, career development , training, recruitment and retention <br />· <br />management plans to ensure quality service <br /> <br />Develop budgeting strategies to achieve an even compensation structure for union and <br />· <br />non-union employees <br /> <br />Based on these items as well as the Department’s own objectives, the Administration <br />Department’s Goals & Priorities are shown below. <br /> <br /> <br />Administration Department’s Goals and Priorities: <br /> <br /> <br />1.Provide excellent, effective and efficient City services to ensure that all <br /> <br />citizens, businesses and visitors have their needs met in a customer <br /> <br />driven, cost effective manner. <br /> <br />2.Improve management and provide leadership to employees, <br /> <br />commissions, task forces and others, as needed to ensure that all <br /> <br />employees and volunteers have the tools and training to efficiently and <br /> <br />effectively achieve their responsibilities. <br /> <br />3.Establish performance measures to ensure that City staff are meeting <br /> <br />community needs. <br /> <br />4.Implement Imagine Roseville 2025 Goals and Strategies which were <br /> <br />identified by hundreds of members of the community who donated <br /> <br />thousands of hours to help set the course for Roseville’s future. <br /> <br />5.Improve outreach to all communities within the City of Roseville to <br /> <br />ensure that all residents, businesses and visitors feel safe, welcome, <br /> <br />respected and heard. <br /> <br /> <br />These goals and priorities require consistent high-performance by all department employees. <br />Achieving these goals also requires substantial participation from all other departments. As a <br />result a strong collaborative effort is paramount to the Department’s success. <br />5 <br /> <br />
