Review of standard City documents and details (such as technical specs and standard plates) included <br />· <br />in construction documents for compatibility with proposed improvements. <br />Review of roadway and turn lane geometrics and grades against applicable Ramsey County, Mn/DOT <br />· <br />and ADA standards. <br />Review of storm water management and erosion/ sediment control plans against MPCA standards. <br />· <br />Review of submitted storm water calculations. <br />· <br />Review of proposed pavement sections (including reinforcement) against available project soils <br />· <br />information and concrete pavement design guidelines. <br />Research for possible public and private utility conflicts <br />· <br />Review of recommended concrete and bituminous mix designations. <br />· <br />Review of landscaping plans and details. <br />· <br />Review of project bid item quantities. <br />· <br />Research for possible discrepancies between plan details and specification requirements. <br />· <br />Preparation of review memo and redlines for implementation by Wal-Mart's engineer. <br />· <br /> <br />Attendance at preconstruction meeting and all regular construction progress meetings. <br />· <br />Serve as liaison to City and County for communications to the project contactor. <br />· <br />Assist in coordination of work between public and private improvement projects in the area. <br />· <br />Review of construction work in accordance with approved plans and specifications and requirements <br />· <br />of the Response Action Plan. <br />Coordination of construction materials testing in accordance with specification requirements. <br />· <br />Assume testing is completed by others. <br />Maintain record of materials test results. <br />· <br />Preparation of pay estimates and contract change orders (if necessary). <br />· <br />Maintain daily documentation of construction progress. <br />· <br />Project punch list administration and close out documentation. <br />· <br /> <br />Construction observation and administration services will be provided on an hourly basis in accordance <br />with the construction contract timelines and actual contractor progress. For the purpose of this proposal, <br />construction observation and administration time is estimated at 45 hrs/wk and 8 hrs/wk, respectively, <br />over six (6) weeks. <br /> <br />Bolton & Menk identifies and provides staff to projects based on our client's specific needs and <br />requirements. The following staff will serve as primary personnel to the City of Roseville for this project: <br /> will serve as overall Project Manager and will lead the plan and specification <br />Marcus Thomas, P.E. <br />review efforts. He will also lead the construction administration efforts. <br /> and will complete the review of the Phase I, Phase II, and <br />Kelly Henry, MSChantill Kahler-Royer <br />Response Action Plan for the project. <br />will assist with the roadway geometric and pavement design reviews. <br />Jason Schmidt, P.E., <br />and are construction observers available for this project and will be assigned <br />Bob Flaws Mark Lynch <br />based on the City's input on the selection. <br />Full resumes for the staff identified above are included as an attachment to this <br />proposal. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
