These parking stalls are rriarked for firefighter-only parking to ensure <br />16 callback firefighters have a place #o park their vehicles when responding from home for fire <br />17 ca11s. There have been times when these parking stalls have been filled by non-firefighters (even <br />18 though they are clearly marked with signs that identify them as�refighter-only parking. This <br />19 change to the ordinance will allaw Roseville Police to issue an administrative citation and to <br />20 have the vehicle towed if necessary when improperly parked in parking stalls intended for <br />21 frefighter use. <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />2S <br />29 <br />Financial: There are no direct financial costs associated with the proposed changes. <br />Staff Recommendation: Both the Fire Chief and the Police Chief recommend approval of thc <br />proposed code change. <br />Council Action Requested: Motion to approve the proposed change to Section 602.11, Ru1es on <br />Publicly Owned Parking Lots, in the Rosevi�le City Code. <br />
