City Attorney Squires re- 6 viewed statutory language and clarified the need for super-majority 7 vo�e; and implications in bringing consistency to the Zoning Ordi- S nance with the Comprehensive Plan. 9 l0 Pust moved, Roe seconded, APPROVAL of the REZ�NING from R 11 1 Single-Family Residential to Planned Unit Development (PUD) �2 with an underlying zoning of B-6 Mixed Use Business Park Districi, 13 for United Properties, in cooperation with the Frieda Schultz Family, 14 property owner to allow the development of a multi-story 93-unit sen- 15 ior cooperative at 3008 and 3010 Cleveland Avenue. 16 17 Councilmember Pust opined that this action was consistent with the 18 Twin Lakes Master Plan and would serve as a first step in bringing it 19 into consistency with the Comprehensive Plan. 20 21 Councilmember Ihlan spoke in opposition to the motion, opining that 22 it was not clear to her that age-restricted housing fits the B-6 zone, 23 and only listed multi-family housing, and that the zoning change may 24 not be compatible with the project. 25 25 Rol!
