lue 8, 2flQ7
Pag 2
seems viabfe, Ruth wants to remain on fhe property.
li is aU well and good for opponents of any project to want to look back on the
good old tiays, when fields, f2rms and open spaces were plentiful, and to bemoan this
projec#, or any project for that matter, as beirg "too big," but the facis are clear:
1. Ruth Partridge needs to find a new home - hopefully a new home i the
deveopment proposed by United Properties.
2. Tiis property is guided far higher density, and the proposed praect will
meet the corr►munity's needs #or this type of housing.
3. United Properties is a thoughiful, respansibfe and experienced deveioper
of this type of residential community within the City of Roseville and
elsewhere.
4. While affecting the neighbors, as deveiapmnt would, ihis project has
tee designed ta provide as genle a trarsition from sirge-aily homes
io commercial properties as is reasanably possible.
5. The City Planner has recommended approval of the project, and his report
to te Planning Commission states his unbiased reasons for appraval.
On behalf of Ruth Partridge, lifelong resident of the City of RosevilEe, we
respecfully request ttat City Council approve the development proposed by United
Properiies.
Thank you for your consideration of our request.
Sincerefy,
John B.
