Yroperty Acquisition of 1779 Rose Place <br />Present: Councilmernbers Kough, Pust, Ihlan, Roe and Mayor Klausing. <br />Also present: City Attorney Jay Squires; Public Works Director Duane <br />Schwartz and Acting City Manager/Finance Director Chris Miller. <br />City Attorney Squires advised that the Open Meeting iaw requires the <br />City, prior to closing a meeting, to state the grounds allowing closure and <br />to describe the subject to be discussed. City Attorney Squires advised <br />that according to Minnesota Statute Section 13D.05 subd. 3(c) {3} of the <br />4pen Meeting Law, closure is perrnitted for the purpose of discussing <br />property acquisition. City Attorney Squires described the subject to be <br />discussed as acquisition of the property at 1779 Rose Place. <br />The Special Meeting convened at 5:35 p.m, in Open Session. The meeting <br />was then closed and the Council convened in Executive Session at <br />5:35p.m. Public Works Directar Duane Schwaxtz then provided an <br />overview regarding the property acquisition at 1.779 Rose Place.
