Call Roll Mayor Klausing reconvened in Qpen Sessian and called to order the Rose- ville City Council regular meeting at approximately 6:00 p.m. and welcomed everyone. (Voting and Seating Order for June: Kough; Pust; Ihlan; Roe; and Klausing) City Manager Bill Malinen was not present and Finance Director Chris Miller served in his capacity during the meeting. City Attorney Jay Squires was also present. 17 Summary of Clos�d Executive 5ession 18 City Attorney Jay Squires advised that the City Council had met ai 5:30 p.m. 19 . in the Aspen Room at City Hall for the purpose of discussing acquisition of 20 property at 1779 Rose Place. Prior to closing the meeting, City Attorney 2]. Squires advised that the Open Meeting Law requires the City state the 22 grounds allowing closure and to describe the subject to be discussed. City 23 Attorney Squires advised that under Minnesota Statute 13D.05, Subdivision 24 3(c) (3), closure was authorized to discuss the acquisition of property, wiih 25 identification o� its address. Upon motion and vote of the Council, the spe- 26 cia� meeting was closed and the Council convened in Executive Session. 27 28 Now in Open Session, the City Council provided the following direction io 29 staff: 30 Ihlan moved, Roe seconded, to authorize staff to conduct an appraisal and 31 enter into negotiations for acquisition of the property at 1779 Rose Piace; .32 and to apprise the City Council of that appraisal and the process of those ne- 33 gotiations. 34 35 Roll Call 36 Ayes: Kough; Pust; Ihlan; Roe and Klausing. 37 Nays: None.
