There has exist�d same difficuliy in th� past in determining a clear <br />interpretation of the City Code reiat�ng to this problem. � <br />Palicy 5tatement: On�y that water from i�side th� structure is perr,iit�ed <br />to enter the sanitary se�rer system. A11 other outside water must be car- <br />ried io a receiving faci3ity located ouiside the siruct�re and must not <br />be the sanitary sewer sys�em. <br />Pracedure Statement: Any outside collection technique or system must be <br />camplete to the point where it carries the ti�rater to a receiving facility <br />, outside the structure. Such receiving f aci7itjes are storm se�rie.rs, <br />catch basins, ponds, ditches, owners yard or similar approved locations. <br />inside drainage is cor�sidered to be abave �he floar,insid� th� interior <br />surface af the exteriar wall and under the roof. �utside v�iater is con - <br />sidered to be from all ot��r services outside the above described bo�ndary. <br />If such outside water 3s brought inside tf�e structure, ifi must continu� <br />througn an enclosed syster� in an urrin�errupted manner to an approved <br />autside recezving faci�ity as stated above. <br />Authori�y: Rosev3]le Ei�y Cade Section 70.050 "Uischarge of 5urface <br />waters prohibited.
