It does have some brush <br />and srnall tree encroachment, but is in overall good condition. The most common native grasses <br />here include little bluestem, Indian Qrass, big bluestem and sideoats �rama. Nonnative �-asses <br />Founcf occasionally include smooth brome and Kentucky bluegrass. The rr�ost frequcntly <br />encountered native forbs here include purple prairie clover, anise hyssop, yellow coneflower, <br />heath aster, showy sunflower, stiff goldenrod, Culver's root, bergamot and prairie sage. <br />Several forbs included in the plantin� are not native to Minnesota, but arc native to other states <br />and commonly used in barden plantin�s. These include blue wild indi�o and pt�rple coneflower. <br />This planting provides an appropriate source of seed for reintroducin� some plant species back <br />into existing praiz�es in other Roseville parks, s�ich as araund Bennett Lake and at Reservoir <br />Woocfs_ <br />City of Rase��ilLe 91 <br />Pcarks Narural Resor�rce Mancagemerat <br />
