The purple loosestrife is currently bein� managed utilizing biolo�ical control �nethods that <br />include beetles by the Nature Interpretive Center. Purple laosestrife is causin� other <br />spccies of the wetland such as sw�tmp milkweed, wool grass, soft-stem bulz-ush, bottlebrush <br />sedge, spike rush, and manna grass to have lower densities and reduces the ecological integrity <br />of the basin.
