Proposed Change In Police Sergeant Job Description <br />At bottom of page 2, last paragraph: <br />Must meet all minimum requirements in the Police Officer job descripEion, plus three (3) <br />years as a licensed Peace Off cer in the City of Roseville, plus A.A. or A.A.S. Degree <br />with law enforcement certification. Officers with ten (10) years as a licensed Of#`icer in <br />the City of Roseville are exempt firam the degree requirement. <br />This change allows current ineligible officers who ha�e been with Roseville for � long time the <br />opportunity to take the sergeant test. If a new hire comes on board from some state without a <br />degree requirement, that person would have three years to acquire a degree or wait for ten years. <br />It is becoming less frequent that a catididates does not have some college or a two year degree. <br />
