ROSEVILLE CIVIL SERVICE COMMlSSION <br />Meeting Minutes <br />August 5, 199$ <br />The meeting was called to order at 5:05pm. <br />Members Present: Bob King and Jack Weidenbach <br />Members Absent: Joe Olson <br />Others Present: Paul Wood, Police Chief; Tom Alleva, Deputy Police Chief; <br />Karen Kurt, Human Resources Director; and Carolyn Ganz, <br />Administrative Analyst. <br />New Business <br />Minutes from tt�e meefiing held on April '[6, 1998 were distributed for approval. <br />Motion: King moved that the minutes be approved. Weidenbach seconded. <br />Motion passed unanimously. <br />Chief Wood introduced a schedule to begin the hiring process for new police <br />officers. Only one candidate remains efigible from the previous list. The <br />procedure is the same as the mast recent process, with the exception t�at the <br />written and physical exams will be held on the same day. <br />Motion; King moved to accept the process. Weidenbach seconded. Motion <br />passed unaminously. <br />Adjournment <br />Motion: King moved to adjourn the meeting at 5:20. Weindenbach seconded the <br />motion. Motion passed unanimously. <br />NOTE: Future Commission meetings are scheduled for Friday, September 4 <br />at S:OOpm and Wednesday, October 14 at 5:OOpm. <br />Respectfully <br />:e Commission <br />
