STEP EIGHT: JOB QFFER FRQM C�TY MANAGER <br />1. Interviews of recammended candidates aze arranged with the City Manager. <br />2. The City Manager may select any of the recommended candidates, in any order, or none <br />of the candidates. <br />3. If a suffzcient number of candidates are not selected (for example, if there are three <br />openings and only two candidates are selected by the Manager), the next available name <br />from the Second Interview ranking will be presented; if no other names are available, the <br />panel for the Second Interviews will intezview the next candidate on the Eiigibility List. <br />4. Once a selection has been made, the City Manger will put forth a job offer, describing the <br />terms and conditions of employment. Ali offers will be conditioned upon the applicant <br />takzng a psychological eYamination and a medical examination to include drug screening; <br />the City shall select the vendors and pay far such testing. <br />Rosevilie Poiicc/cjg/may97 <br />
