RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE <br />POLICE CIVYL SERVICE COMMISSION <br />CITY �F R�SEV�LLE, MINNESOTA <br />1. PURPOSE <br />The following Rules and Regulations are esta.blished by the RosevilIe Police Civii Service <br />Commission in arder to promote efficiency in the Roseville Police Department and to carry <br />out the putposes and intent of Chapter 419, Minnesota Statu#es, and Chapter 2;5 of the City <br />Code of the City of Roseville. <br />2. P�tOCEDURF <br />a- The Commission shall meet the first Monday in February of each year and from time <br />to time thereafter upon the call of the Chaix. � <br />b. Ail meetings shall be held in the Roseville City Hall or imilar known and u lic <br />Ip ace and shall be open to the pnblic. <br />c. Public notice of alI meetings shall be posted in a prominent place in the Roseville <br />City HaII at least 24 hours before the convening of ineetings. :�l ��-� <br />d- The presence of two Commissioners shall constitute a quonun for the conducting of <br />business. <br />e. A Chair, Vice Chair and Secretary shali be elected by the Commission at its annual <br />meetings, to serve one year terms. <br />f Minutes of a1I meetings shall be kept by the Secretary and sha11 be open for puhlic <br />inspection at reasonable times and places. <br />S• Any question concerning interpretation of these ruIes and regulations shall be <br />decided soleiy by the Commission. <br />3. ENTRY EVEL PO IT ONS <br />Openings in entry level positions shall be f lled from an eligible register maintained by the <br />Commission.
