MINUTES <br />RO$EVILLE POLICE CIV�L SERVICE COMMISSION <br />NaVEMBER 30, 1994 <br />The m�eting was called to order at 5:25 p.m. <br />Members Present: Bob King, and Jack Weidenbach <br />Others Present: Deputy Chief Alleva; Officers Ann O'Neal, <br />Loren Rosand, and Chuck Ga1Zop <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />Weidenbach moved, King seconded that the Minutes of October 28, <br />1994 be approved. All ayes. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />1. At the Qctober 28, 1994 meeting the Commission requested <br />Alleva to check with Laura Kushner, who has left the City of <br />Roseville, to inquire what was done on the 4 items she was ``� <br />going to check an from the February 7, 1994 mee�ing. Alleva <br />contacted Kushner who said she didn't remember if she had <br />cflmpleted those tasks. She stated if there was any <br />information on thos� items it would be in a file in her <br />office. Alleva checked and was not able to find the <br />information. <br />The City's new Personnel Director will came on board 1.2/5/94. <br />Alleva stated he would pass on those unanswered questions to <br />her at that time. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />l. Review of uestionnaires on Ser eant Testin Process. The <br />C�mmission reviewed the 5 returned questionnaires prior to the <br />meeting. Input from others present included lack of <br />confidence in P.D.I., and concerns over variQUS parts of the <br />past assessment center test process, specifically the video <br />iraining session, and cancern over peer review. <br />A�leva brought out concerns passed on to him by Cammissioner <br />Olson who was unable to attend this meeting. They were: <br />• Need for the test to be as objective as reasonable; <br />knowing it can't be 1000 objective. <br />
