Bill Malinen <br />Call to Order <br />The Human Rights Commission (HRC) meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m. Chair Gary <br />Grefenberg requested staff call the roll. <br />15 Approve Agenda <br />16 Commissioner Groff moved and Commissioner Brisbois seconded- motion to approve the <br />1� agenda as distributed. Motion passed unanimously. <br />ls <br />19 Approve Minutes <br />20 Commissioner Brisbois moved and Commissioner Groff seconded motion to approve the May <br />21 16, 2012 special meeting minutes as amended. Motion passed unanimously. <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />29 <br />30 <br />31 <br />32 <br />33 <br />34 <br />35 <br />36 <br />Chair Grefenberg noted he had finished revisions on the August minutes after the meeting pacicet <br />had been finalized and mailed, and distributed to the Commission copies of his recommended <br />revisions. <br />Public Comment <br />There being no one present wishing to speak to the Commission on an item not on the agenda, <br />the Chair moved to the next agenda item. <br />Chair's Report <br />Chair Grefenberg acknowledged with regret the resignation of long=time Human Rights <br />Commissioner Thelma McKenzie. He noted he received a letter from her stating she was moving <br />from Roseville. He expressed his personal appreciation for her service to the community and <br />requested a resolution of appreciation be drafted for her service to the City. <br />37 Commissioner poneen moved and Commissioner Groff seconded a motion to approve a <br />38 Resolution of Appreciation for Thelma McKenzie for her years of service on the Human Rights <br />39 Commission for the City of Roseville. Motion passed unanimously. <br />40 <br />41 Chair Grefenberg noted that two of the youth commissioners were reappointed by the City <br />42 Council for another year. He congratulated Youth Commissioners Joan Dao and Marie Siliciano <br />43 for their reappointments. <br />44 <br />
