EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br /> COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEWLLE <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the <br />City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly called held at the City Hall on <br />Monday, the 23rd day of February, 1998, at P.M. <br />The following members were present: Goedeke, Mastel, Maschka, Wall, and Wiski; <br />and the following members were absent: None. <br />Council Member Goedeke introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9527 <br />RESOLUTION DENYING A VARIANCE AT <br />964 COUNTY ROAD B WEST <br />WHEREAS, Section City Code, requires a minimum lot area of 11,000 <br />square feet and a minimum lot width of 85 feet for interior lots in an RI zoning district; and <br />WHEREAS, the Max Estate has requested a variance to reduce the lot <br />area of one parcel to 8,911 square feet, and the lot width of both parcels to 79.56 feet for <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on the <br />request on Wednesday, February 1998, and recommended denial of the requested <br />variances; and <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council received the Planning Commission’s <br />recommendation on Monday, February 23, 1998; and <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council made the following findings: <br />Section City Code, requires a minimum lot area of 11,000 square feet <br />and a minimum lot width of 85 feet for interior lots in an RI zoning district. The <br />existing parcel is 20,456 square feet in area and 79.5 feet in width. <br />The improvement of Burke Avenue created numerous through lots in this area. <br />Since the several lots in this area have been split such as that being <br />proposed by the applicant; however, most of the lots allowed to be split were wider <br />than this parcel. <br />Resolution 9527 Page 1 of 3 <br />
